If you own or run a small business there is a lot to think about and often a steep learning curve.
Somewhere in the mix that may include finance, logistics, marketing, IT, insurance, health & safety is how to manage your staff and ensure you comply with the plethora of employment law. And that is how B & D Roper Ltd can help you.
Friendly, expert and affordable HR advice
Whether you are a large or small organisation a happy, efficient, effective workforce can drive customer satisfaction, productivity and innovation. Our mission is to support our clients in achieving that goal by providing user friendly, expert and affordable HR advice and support or an extra pair of hands to get you through a busy period. We provide tailored HR advice to businesses of all shapes and sizes and in all sectors including those where safeguarding is paramount.
Staff Terms and conditions and Handbooks
All your staff must by law have a Statement of Terms and Conditions. We can either provide you with a bespoke template or, if you already have such a document, we will check it over for you to ensure it meets your legal obligations.
Staff Handbooks are really useful documents. They provide you and your staff with a one-stop-shop of information. How do you manage maternity leave? How do you manage a poor performer? Having your policies and procedures in a document available to everyone in your organisation means that all your staff are treated equitably and they know exactly what to expect if they don’t come to work regularly for example. We can provide you with a bespoke handbook, designed just for your organisation.
Here when you need help
And, above all, we will always be here for you on the end of a telephone or inbox. Our clients tell us that knowing we are here to answer their questions, talk through a tricky situation or simply confirm that they have got it right takes a weight off their shoulders and gives them more time to concentrate on moving their business forward without the fear of an Employment Tribunal claim.
We work closely together with PAAC IT – they provide our IT support and we provide them with HR advice. In addition we’ve worked together on GDPR looking at the implications on our respective client’s businesses.
